Preparation
  1. Start with simple mise en place: measure, mince, and line up your ingredients.
  2. Sear chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp butter until golden brown (5 minutes per side). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Stir in egg noodles, simmering for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in remaining butter and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3 to 4 days when stored in an airtight container. For freezing, portion into meal-sized containers and freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat gently to retain moisture.
