Preparation
- Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic, black pepper, salt, oregano, and thyme in a bowl until well combined.
- Place chicken in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for better flavor.
Grilling
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Let the chicken sit for a few minutes to reach room temperature.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side or until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Always taste your marinade before using it to adjust flavors. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F for tender chicken. This marinade also works well with pork or vegetables.
