Method
 

Cooking the Linguine
  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make sure to reserve a little pasta water before draining to help create a creamy sauce later.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Keep an eye on it to prevent browning too much.
  2. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and slice it after letting it rest for a minute.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlicky butter. Splash in reserved pasta water if needed.
  2. Serve topped with sliced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and fresh parsley.
