Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Look for plump, even-sized breasts for even cooking.
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta This shape holds onto the sauce beautifully.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic is a must for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup butter Use unsalted for better control over seasoning.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Provides a rich, creamy texture.
  • 1 cup chicken broth Adds depth to the sauce.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated melts better than pre-packaged.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Adds freshness and color.

Method

Cooking Pasta
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside. Save a bit of pasta water for the sauce if needed.
Preparing Sauce
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, turning a couple of times.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and heavy cream; bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, mixing until well combined.
  7. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce; mix well and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
