Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, bread crumbs, ranch seasoning, garlic, onion, and shredded cheddar. Mix just until combined.
- Divide the mixture into 6–8 equal portions and shape into round, flattened patties about ½ to ¾ inch thick.
- Place patties on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 15–30 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties in batches, 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serving
- Serve warm on buns with toppings, allowing everyone to customize their own burger.
Notes
Store cooked patties in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge. For freezing, place on a baking sheet until firm, then transfer to a freezer bag.
